Paper Chains

Anyone who knows me will know that I can't sit doing nothing, I love arts and crafts. Today I was looking through my crafting stash and came upon some glittery paper I have had for ever ! The fibro is playing up today so I don't want to do anything too fiddly or complicated. I decided the glittery paper would be a great way to start my Christmas decorating. I tried making some 3D stars but it was very difficult to glue them together as the paper soaks up the glue and double sided tape doesn't stick well to the glitter. Well that was a wasted hour....now what! I started thinking about Christmas when I was a child and had a light bulb moment, paper chains, easy, relaxing, retro...paper chains have it all !

So I settled down with a latte, my beautiful Ida (I'm sure you'll hear more about her soon) a Christmas film  I found on Netflix, 'Nativity 2 - Danger in the manger' and got to making shiny, glittery paper chains.
All ready to be put up in the lounge in December. The film was very sweet and Christmassy all I need now is a glass of mulled wine x

Great Graduation

This weekend we were up in Coventry celebrating Oliver's first class honours degree. What a great weekend , when did our little boy become such a clever young man ? So, so proud.
